- Appointed by the Governor to the Louisiana State Office of Workers’ Compensation’s Advisory
  Committee in April of 2005-2008.
- Appointed by the Governor and the Speaker of the House to Chair a joint legislative task force to
  deal with the difficulties of the State Group Benefits Program, which is the self-insured program for
  80,000 state employees.

but, also allows for the transport of x-rays across telephone lines for radiographic interpretation by radiologist.

About Dr. Herring
Dr. Herring is a 1968 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in
Davenport, Iowa, where he received the “Clinical Excellence” award at the
time of his graduation.  After graduation he joined the United States Navy
and graduated with distinction from the U.S. Naval Corps School in Great
Lakes, Illinois.  He was honorably discharged in 1970 and returned to
Alexandria, Louisiana to practice chiropractic.  In 1999 he completed a
program in chiropractic orthopedics taught by Logan Chiropractic
College.  Subsequently, he completed a program in chiropractic
consulting that was taught by Texas Chiropractic College.  In September
of 2000, he successfully passed a consulting test conducted by the
American Board of Chiropractic Consultants and became a Diplomate of
the American College of Chiropractic Consultants.
